March is about to end and Mabe survived 7th Grade but not her toenail. (ouch!)
She actually got sick around February, cough and colds, and slight fever, then before the school ended, she got into an accident in PE class so her toe needed a minor surgery hence the toenail extraction.
Unfortunately, she cannot wear shoes for three months, can't get the damaged toe wet, no beach this summer, no physical activities that might endanger the toe. I wonder what summer activity we'll get into.
Despite all that, I am more than glad Mabe survived her first year in high school. I thought of changing school because of some incidents I don't want to elaborate anymore, but then Mabe don't want to transfer schools. So we're staying then...
Oh well...adieu Grade 7....goodbye toenail.
