She's loving 50mm too!

The photos she took in the yard...getting addicted in trying to focus her shots.

Happy Sunday everyone!

Saturday.

Saturday. A quick trip to the mall. We were 30 minutes early and waited for the mall to open, just to buy some of Mabe's things for school, like this rash guard for next week's PE Class.

I don't want to buy an expensive one, so we found a brand for only Php699.75 (around $15.55). We usually don't buy swimming gears, my aunt sends us stuff (like the one below).

Another stuff is this one: correction tape. duh. She ran out of it so we dropped by the bookstore for this thing. 

I was so eager to go home because the courier's calling about my delivery from the telecom company. The gadget I got for signing a retention arrived already.

Finally.

This errand day Saturday drained my energy so quickly! I'm just glad to be home now.

It's been a while since I played with my 50mm...it's actually a long time since I took photos using my camera. It's all Instagram's fault. Haha!

So nice to click that shutter again.

You had an amazing year after turning 10 in 2013. 

It started out with a travel to Baguio again, you visited great grandma, met and became friends, and bestfriends with cousins, met relatives you haven't seen, found a dog you wanted in the future.

In school, you officially became a Girl Scout, camped for four days and experienced many firsts, like first time to hike and swim in the river, first time to be away from the comfort of our home. You walked in mud and planted mangrove trees. You helped young graders with their schoolbags. The Church Pilgrimage in Iloilo with the whole class was 'an awesome trip ever', you said and you can't wait for the next out of town field trip again.

The community outreach experience you had with your classmates in public day care centers, the feeding programs, the nature walks you always look forward doing in your Enviromentalist Club, all these community involvement widened your social awareness.

The stories you shared after all the activities were music to my ears. The friends you gained, the friendship, the goodness shared made you a kind-hearted person.

Your awards and recognition in Academics and Deportment made us proud of you more. Enjoy school and continue to seek excellence. Remember that character is very important. 

You will always be our Mabe, the girl who loves Minecraft, Adventure Time, One Direction fanatic, and loves to draw and creates anything. Never stop learning. Be the best that you can be. We will always be here to guide and support you. We love you so much.
