Simple Joys: Bubbles

"Live every moment. Love every day....because before you know it, precious time slips away..."

Time flies. Time passes by so fast...today she may be this tweener who loves bubbles, tomorrow I'm not certain what makes her smile and giggle...

Simple joys brings so much happiness no amount of money can buy. Every day we try to live and enjoy life as it is. We never cease to make each day as precious as we can.

My little girl, may you continue to laugh and enjoy simple joys life brings...

Back in the GYM

It's been three weeks since I started to work out again.

This is not a New Year's resolution, but this is something I wanted to do since I stopped working out last year.

Red socks. Yeah, I know. Lol! A friend/student from China told me that 2014 is my year (Year of the Horse), then I should wear red socks the whole year for goodluck. Another Chinese friend told me that on New Year's eve (January 31st), I should wear red undies. Okay, I will. All for Good Luck.

Anyhoo, I felt better these days. I exercise three times a week. Healthy living it is.

School field trips and Mumzilla

It's never easy to be a full time mother these days. (lucky me for having a flexible job)

School field trips are evolving radically.

My 5th Grader went on an overnight school trip the other day in a city across the sea. One hour ferry ride seems ordinary to some, but for me it's not. Definitely NOT.

What else would mumzilla like me did, but tag along. (Not really tag along) but I went to the same city as well, took the next ferry trip, stayed on a different hotel, and chill out.

For some, it's being overly protective, others agreed and did the same thing as well...

For me, this is what makes my heart and my mind at peace, so I would rather go and stay near my daughter for a few kilometers than an ocean away.

I gave her the freedom to explore other places, the chance to grow, appreciate the independence...

and save myself from mumzilla anxiety attacks.

Tea!

Look what arrived from the mail today.

A box from Shenzhen, China. My student's mother sent me a package. Wow.

Authentic and high-quality Oolong Tea.

Perfect for the cold and rainy weather in my city right now.

Good night!

2014

Welcome to the year 2014!

To be honest, I really don't know what's in store for me this year. All I know is that no matter what 2014 brings to me, I am ready.

I am embracing 2014 with all my heart and mind.

What I know however are things and events that will definitely come my way...

Turning 36 this year. The third cycle of my life, according to my husband. From 12, then 24, next..36. Whatever. ugh! I stopped counting the moment I turned 30. Hello.

My work turning me into a diplomatic shrink like friend teacher wannabe. Everyday is exciting, although there are times it really makes me bored and sleepy. This job is the perfect job for me. This job is the perfect job for me. This job is the perfect job for me. Gee.

Me as momzilla to Mabe. Of course I still am, and will forever be.

Aside from all these, there are dreams and wishes I really hope to happen this year:

I want to travel again, with Mabe and the hubby. Anywhere.

My own business. I want something to work on my own.

A place of our own. Just the three of us.

I don't expect all these to happen in one day, or in one year...

2014, you know I'm ready but please be nice.
